Baby Clothing – What Makes Some Kids So Darn Cute

The arrival of a new infant in the family means the scramble is on for baby clothing. The new mother wants to dress her baby to be the cutest ever. Friends and relatives want to give that one special gift that will make mom smile with pleasure. Baby clothing is very common as a baby gift and often given in a gift pack including toys and other needed supplies.

Most cultures like to dress a new babe in a cute and adorable fashion. Little girls clothing is often frilly and decorated with colorful flowers or cartoon characters. Newborn boys are often outfitted in tiny little versions sports uniforms. Little girls are often identified with clothing and blankets pink in color while boys are more typically in shades of blue.

Baby clothing varies in design from an adults needs. One-piece sleepers, footies and coveralls serve as a snappy wardrobe for the newborn. They also will require bibs and burp cloths to protect their outerwear. As babies lose heat rapidly it is important to also provide them with caps and tee shirts to maintain their body temperature. A baby with an expose head can become chilly very quickly. Most moms find it easier to keep their babies in sleepers when they are infants and only dress them in outer apparel on special occasions. Socks and shoes do not really become needed until an infant starts crawling and moving around on their own. Most moms will tell you this happens before you know it. At that time reinforced knees in leg wear is more important that shoes!
