Entice Your Child To Read With A Written For Children Book
The ability to read and read well is a great bonus to a child’s life. Do you remember the struggle to place all those letters together to create words? Do you remember when all of sudden it wasn’t quite the struggle it used to be? All of sudden the sentences flowed together and you were in the Lantern waste with Lucy and the fawn or wondering about those Green Eggs and Ham and wondering what they tasted like. Many of the great authors of the children book you enjoyed as a child are still in print today. You will love to see your child get excited by the same children book that excited you years ago.
Not all children get enthused by reading. If you have reluctant reader you may have to search harder to find a children book that will entice your child to read it through to the end. There are books on the market that use high adventure combined with a limited vocabulary to allow a struggling young reader success. Another way to encourage your child to read is to personalize a children book. By incorporating the child’s name, and the names of their friends and family hopefully a child will be more interesting in reading through to the end. As your child gains confidence the books can become more challenging. Personalized books can be found over the Internet as well as from bookstores.
When you find a children book that your child loves you are leading them towards a more successful and happy school experience. Start reading to them young and create a life long desire to enjoy the written word.
