Sesame Street Live is Out of This World!

What happens when Martians land on Sesame Street? What do all Earthlings have in common? Children and their families are invited to share a cosmic journey with Big Bird, Grover, Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street Live friends in an all-new show at the Erwin Center. Get ready for liftoff- tickets are on sale now!

An average sunny day becomes extraordinary when Terry, Sesame Street’s fix-it girl, and her Muppet friends teach their intergalactic visitors all about Earth. Grover shares some of his recent global adventures, and children learn that Sesame Street is an international favorite. The live show includes popular segments such as Elmo’s World and Journey to Ernie, as well as the letter and number of the day. In the process, Sesame Street friends teach children how much we have in common.

Like television’s Sesame Street, each Sesame Street Live production features timeless lessons, which are valuable at any age. Through the razzle-dazzle of a full-blown Broadway-quality production, children learn about patience, cooperation and teamwork. The universal appeal of a Sesame Street Live production continues long after pre-school. Adults will appreciate the high-tech stagecraft, cleverly written scripts and music they recognize from childhood. Out of this World features a wide variety of songs, many of them renditions of tunes that kids will love and parents will remember, including: Sunny Days, The Hokey-Pokey, Disco Duck, and We are Family.
