Off The Map Gets Kids Exploring
Wild Planet Toys ignites the science and nature category with new offerings from its Off The Map line of outdoor adventure gear.
Science can be more than telescopes and chemistry sets, says Libby Brown, assistant brand manager for Wild Planet.
We have gear that focuses on fun while encouraging physical activity and exploration. Whether it’s a set of gadget gloves that keeps your hands free for climbing, or a positioning system that let’s you track the movement of squirrels and birds – we’re giving kids ways to experience nature like never before.
Explorer’s Gloves, Explorer’s Positioning System and Trail Light join the Off the Map brand this holiday season.
Explorer’s Gloves
Invented by 10-year-old Nathan Tung from Southern California as part of Wild Planet’s annual Kid
Inventor Challenge contest, these gadget gloves feature exploration tools— including lights, compass, magnifying glass, digital clock, tweezers, clips and utility cord.
Nathan realized the need for accessible tools while on big adventures and created the Explorer’s Gloves. He will receive royalties for every pair sold and his photo will appear on the box!
