FUN & HEALTHY BARBECUE IDEAS FOR KIDS
This barbecue season, why not treat your kids to fun and healthy ways to enjoy backyard family cooking? Thanks to Veggie Patch, the family soyfoods innovator, kids can roll up their sleeves, put on their aprons, and prepare colorful, mouth-watering warm weather dinners that are fun and easy to prepare with their parents on the grill in their own backyard.
Try Veggie Patch’s recipes for Veg-Kabobs, Smile Burgers and Backyard Campfire Stew. All of the meats in these kid recipes are actually made from soy protein, a healthy meat substitute that is scientifically designed to cook, cut and chew just like real meat. Says Eli Soglowek, Veggie Patch Founder, You won’t have any problem flipping these burgers or creating shish-ka-bob masterpieces that can compete with the best of them! It’s healthy eating made easy for the whole family!

Place on grill, and cook on each side 1-3 minutes, depending on the intensity of the heat. When done, place tiny cheese pieces in a row on each burger so it looks like teeth.
