Habermaass - Fine-Crafted German Toys To The U.S. At Toy Fair
Habermaass Corp., representing the HABA® family of products from Germany for the past 60 years, is greatly expanding its product lines in the U.S. at the American International Toy Fair in New York February 16-19, 2003, at Javits Convention Center.
The company has four brand categories but will operate under one name, HABA. HABA’s booth number is 1547. Habermaass is a household name in Germany and stands for quality, ingenuity in design and educational innovation. In the U.S. specialty toy industry, the company has been active through its 67-year-old subsidiary, T.C. Timber, which Habermaass purchased 23 years ago. Now, it has decided to introduce about half of its nearly1,000-SKU German product line to the U.S. market under its brand name HABA. At Toy Fair, scores of brand-new products will be shown, along with hundreds of items that are tried-and-true in Europe but new to the U.S. market.
It’s like a start-up company showing at Toy Fair with an unheard-of 500 items to start with, but with 60 years of experience in manufacturing, design and customer service! The 900-square-foot HABA booth will surely be one of the most exciting stops to visit this year. In addition to HABA, the company will also use three other brands for three other categories of merchandise.
The Habermaass Corp. manufactures two brands, HABA and T.C. Timber and Habermaass retains the exclusive U.S. distribution rights to Germany-based TOGU and Spielstabil.
